Interview with a panel of hospitality professionals

Applicants will be interviewed, on a one to one basis, by our panel of experts who will be looking for evidence of a real passion for the hospitality industry as well as a sincere motivation for wanting to study at Ecole Hoteliere at Lavasa. Questions will focus on areas such as extra curricular activities, work experience (e.g. vacation or evening/weekend jobs), international exposure and hobbies, among other things.

Group exercises

Applicants will be expected to participate in a group exercise so that our panel of experts can see their communication and problem-solving skills in action and can evaluate their ability to work effectively in a team. Our assessors will be looking in particular for evidence of social skills, confidence and communication skills, business acumen, leadership potential, capacity to deal with deadlines under pressure as well as excellent interpersonal skills (e.g. listening, persuasion, diplomacy, mediation, composure, patience, etc).

Verification of documentation

Applicants will be expected to bring the original documentation submitted as part of their application to study at Ecole Hoteliere at Lavasa for admissions staff to verify. This is an important part of the application procedure and a critical element of the overall applicant assessment process.
