An alumni of the Said Business School, Oxford University and the Oberoi School, Nathan Andrews, the former President of Lavasa was instrumental in setting up Ecole Hoteliere at Lavasa. With over thirty five years of experience across three continents, Nathan Andrews set up the training offices for Oberoi Hotels in Egypt and Iraq, opened the Regent in Mumbai and was the opening CEO of Crossroads, India’s first shopping mall.
DEAN RESEARCH - DR. BRAINERD PRINCE
Dr. Brainerd Prince completed his PhD on Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Philosophy from OCMS, Oxford, under Professor Gavin Flood, Professor of Hindu Studies, Oxford University. He is presently a Visiting Research Tutor at OCMS, Oxford responsible for the Research Induction School for new PhD students. He is also a Research Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, a Recognized Independent Centre of Oxford University. He is also the Founding Director of Samvada Centre for Research Resources whose vision is to empower cultural traditions through postgraduate research to articulate an intellectual voice that makes a meaningful contribution in our increasingly multicultural world. His first book The Integral Philosophy of Aurobindo: Hermeneutics and the Study of Religion from Routledge will come out in the end of 2016. His educational background includes B. Com. (Business and Commerce, Delhi University), B.D. (Theology and Religions, UBS, Senate of Serampore) and PhD (Religious Studies and Hermeneutics, OCMS, Oxford).

A hoteliere with 20 years of operational and academic experience, with expertise in strategic planning and marketing, his primary focus has been Rooms Management. He is a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) from AH & LA, Michigan USA.
Vice President - Enrollment & Admissions – Rohan Hiranandani
A Hospitality professional. Has held senior positions in Sales and Marketing with Marriott, Hyatt, American Express Bank and senior Business Development roles at Lavasa and Ezeego1.com. Rohan brings with him 24 years of Work experience. He is Alumni of the Jai Hind College, Mumbai. Currently he looks into the Enrollment and Admissions of Ecole Hoteliere at Lavasa.

Himanshu Gokhale is a graduate of Ecole Hoteliere Glion. With 13 years of experience working in India and in the Caribbean Islands, Himanshu now shares his experience and learnings of Food & Beverage with our students at Ecole Hoteliere at Lavasa.
Qualified Learning Facilitator Housekeeping – Subhasis Mandal
A graduate from IHM Trivandrum and a post graduate in Tourism Management. Before he joined Ecole Hoteliere at Lavasa in 2012, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Accommodation Operations and Tourism Management at IHM Aurangabad. He carries a rich experience of 17 years with him.
Qualified Learning Facilitator Indian Kitchen – Chef Shankar Kumar
Shankar Kumar hails from a hospitality background and has worked with hospitality chains like the ITC Group, Taj Hotels before venturing into academics. He has completed his Masters In Business Administration and is a Qualified Learning Facilitator certified from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Switzerland.

Chef Amit brings with him more than 13 years of experience in Confectionery and Bakery across various segments like Hotel, Retail and Industrial Production.
Senior Qualified Learning Facilitator Food and Beverage – Rajendra Nabar
Rajendra Nabar is a Diploma Holder and a Graduate in Hotel Management with 23 years of Operational experience supported with 8 years academic instruction. He specializes in Food and Beverage operationally and administratively in Contract Catering and Club Management.
ADJUNCT FACULTY - GAGAN SHARMA
Gagan is a Delhi-based wine professional, sommelier, and a certified mixologist. He earned his Masters of Business in Hospitality Management, Victoria University, Australia in 2007-2008.
Apart from conducting sessions (training, food pairing, appreciations) Gagan also heads course conducted under the aegis of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, London, UK, at India’s first wine and beverage school, Institute of Wine + Beverage Studies (IWBS). Gagan has successfully trained over 750 candidates for Levels 1, 2, and Level 3, covering a diverse group that hails from India to the neighboring countries.
